The Master’s Thesis analyses and identifies problems of assurers’ insolvency and influence of groups of assurers on collection of insurance premiums under the sample of Siauliai Territorial Office. During the research, we have done the analysis of reasons of premium payment, influencing factors and imposition of sanctions, evaluation of insolvency problems and possibilities of their decrease. We have established during the research that despite the growth of economics and the upturn of the basic macro-economical indices, the amount of insolvent assurers was increasing. The number of constraint measures, bankruptcy procedures and debt of assurers to the budget of fund was also increasing significantly. The results have proved the fact that the economical growth is not a warrant of successful administration of the budget of Sodra, which would be able to solve the problem of well-balancing of the budget and secure the solvency of assurers. The reasons of assurers’ insolvency lie not only in the macro-economical factors, but also are influenced by other factors, such as political, social, demographic and technological. |
