This master’s paper indicates the concept of the organization of vocational rehabilitation of disabled people; it analyzes and systemizes theoretical works and practical research in vocational rehabilitation conducted by various Lithuanian and foreign authors. The paper presents a detailed analysis of legal basis that regulates organization of vocational rehabilitation and the opinion of vocational rehabilitation specialists and the disabled who participated in vocational rehabilitation program about the legal regulation, concept, and quality of vocational rehabilitation. It also presents the structure of the organization of vocational rehabilitation and principles for the realization of vocational rehabilitation. Paper proves hypothesis formulated by the author that Lithuania has legal basis that regulates the organization of vocational rehabilitation and there is a net of institutions that are responsible for the organization of vocational rehabilitation, though there is no distinctness in legal regulation of the services and institutional distribution of functions in realizing vocational rehabilitation services. |
