During studies of master I wanted to try something new. For my final work I choose a technique with I never worked before – etching ( aqua-fortis ). In all kinds of literature sources etching definable as a print of copper or zinc panel. I have made 12 works of one subject. My subject of works collection, which called „City transformations“, confused with surrealism - art of unusual combination. Drawing my works collection I tryed to find connection between old and new city, dreams and reality also confusion between lines, line-engraving, light and dark, spots and shadows. In all prints I found general colouring, similarly component of composition, repeating lines which are the most important things in may finish work. |
