This master's thesis analyzes main social security principles: solidarity, pay-as-you-go, person equality, differentiation, depolitisation, property security content and implementation of them in Lithuanian social insurance system. First part discusses main international and Europe Union documents of current social insurance which evaluates globally acknowledged essential social security standart of persons who encountered social risks. Also this par looks into creation of modern social security in Lithuania. Second part aims to reveal Lithuanian social security system, explain main differences of Lithuanian social insurance category's and to single out different problematic regulation of theirs. In third part importance of principles to current law system is being explained and social security law principle system is being discussed. Fourth part of master’s thesis aims to explain content of separate social security principles and analyze how they work in chosen areas of social security. |
