Abstract [eng] |
Standards determine the requirements of structural integrity properties of bicycles. Special tests are performed to proof wether the bicycle meets the requirements of structural integrity or not. Dynamic effects leeds to time-varying strain in elements or components of item under the test. The oscillations can cause failure or loosening of bicycle elements. TBC structural integrity machine allows to perform tests using three different loading types (weights, a weight of bags filled with metal balls, pneumatic cylinders). Dependance of bicecle handelbar strain level on different type of loading is researched in the work. |
