In this study theoretical analysis of influence of changing environmental factors on characteristics of the socioeducational activities is performed. Hypothesisis is made that changing society influences onthe specific character of problems encountered by pupils as well as ways of giving socioeducological help and forms which require social educator‘s additional capacities. The method of interview is used the aim of which is to investigate factors influencing social educator‘s profession. Content analysis method is used to process the qualitative research. The study involves 10 social educators, 8 social workers working in general educational schools and 3 in orphanages, one respondent working in both types of organizations – in general education school and orphanage. The empirical part deals with characteristics of socioeducational activities, the pupils‘ problems in general educational institution and child care institution, displays the main areas of activities, the form of social activity,the factors which impede social educator‘s profession and his professional succsses as well as factors refering to the motives of choice of social educator profession. |
