During the global adjustments, we can find objective and subjective parts of career education at education policy level. That is why the importance of moral values is emphasized alongside the categories of knowledge, abilities and skills. That means that an acquired or available competence of a person is becoming the aim of career education. So it is very important to analyses, what influence the different level changes bring to the system of career education, to estimate if the level of training complies with the standart requirements, how the system of qualification improvement meets expectations of the person who improves the qualification., whether the person can become competent part of a market with a gained knowledge and qualification. For this purpose the aim of the research is the possibilities of career education in the system of national defense (the case of Air Force). The research was conducted by combining qualitative and quantitative methods: the analysis of education governing documents and the literature sources according the aspect of the selected research, the method of data collection and treatment, the real situation of the research object was desired to identify by using the methods of standard-type questionnaire and expert survey, Windows Microsoft Word and Windows Microsoft Excel programs; were used for data systematization, processing and graphic representation, 11 tables and 3 diagrams were used for the illustration of facts and regularities. The results of the research didn‘t prove out the hypothesis that the successful military men career education in the Air Force Battalion leads the ability to organize this practice according the needs of military men. The real situation is evaluated by the research, the main problems are find and the recommendations are given. According to the research conclusions, the recommendations are given not only to the specialists of the concrete Air Force Battalion, but also to the other organizations of the structure of the national defense, and to the institutions giving military men career education.
