Abstract [eng] The current Lithuanian education policy is based on equal opportunities, contextuality, efficiency and sustainability principles, democracy and integration ideas. Many educational documents govern healthy and safe learning environment for all students, it must be ensured for all school community members together with specialists who provide educational assistance. Currently, in the mainstream schools number of pupils with special needs is growing (2 pr.). Therefore, in the organization of education of SEN pupils in the mainstream education schools each teacher's opinion becomes very important.Master's thesis research object is opinion of general education school teachers, managers and educational assistance experts about integration efficiency of the pupils with special educational needs in the mainstream schools. The aim is to explore how general education teachers, managers and education specialists help the pupils with special needs to integrate in the mainstream schools. The study found that teachers welcome education of the pupils with special needs in mainstream education schools and believe that most efficiently integration and equal opportunity principles are assured. Educators welcome assistance of all education support professionals (speech therapist, special educator, social educator and psychologist) provided for pupils with SEN. But in their view, that the most effective education for SEN pupils is ensured through their partial integration method.
