Relevance of the Survey. Career selection is one of the most relevant problems; the appropriate decision has an influence on the growth of personal wealth. Therefore it is very important, that the first decision of the schoolchild is conscious, purposeful with understanding that adaptation in the labour market as well as internal harmony of personality depends upon suitable decision. Object of the Survey – career selection factors of students from Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Arts at Siauliai University. Aim of the Survey – to compare career selection factors of students from Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Arts. Methods of the Survey: scientific literature analysis; questionnaire was performed using methodology, prepared by D. Beresneviciene (1995); quantitative research data analysis was performed using SPSS 11.0 for Windows and MS Excel images. |
