Abstract [eng] In this master’s final paper it is presented the analysis of the social partnership background, basic forms and impact to labour legal relations in the European Union and Lithuania. With reference to the law, legal, nonfiction literature, courts praxis it is discussed the conception of the social partnership, principles, levels taking notice to the European Union and national levels. This final paper expounds in theory and praxis mostly debate raising questions on appropriate structural parts: the exclusion of the social partners of the European Union level, their participation in the legislation of the European Union, both on initiative of the European Commission and autonomy, their opportunities in implementing the European Union law, problematical aspects of the legal status of national social partners, national forms of the social partnership - by forming tripartite or bipartite councils (commissions, committees), applying information and consultation procedures, conducting collective bargaining in order to conclude a collective bargaining agreement, through the employees' participation in the enterprise management also Tripartite Council activity and importance of cooperation agreements (pacts) made both in this council and independently. Additionally, it is discussed the perspectives of the social partnership in the European Union and national level.
