Impact of renovation of blocks of flats on payments for heating in Mažeikiai is analyzed in Master’s work. Lithuanian central heating economics, prices and pricing system of heating, also impact of blocks’ renovation on payments for heating analyzed in the theoretical part of the work. The second part of the work is based on two indicators which display the need to reduce payments for heating. Compensation for central heating and residents’ debts to heating supplier are mentioned indicators. Also in this part of the work renovation costs and benefits of one block of flats evaluated. The third part of the work analyzed changes in payments for heating after renovation of III and IV category blocs of flats in town. There was found that renovation of blocks answered the purpose and residents experienced net benefit of renovation only when the need of heat after renovation reduced more then 50 percent and residents covered up to 30 percent costs of renovation. |
