Master's thesis analyses the application of quality management standards in the public sector: the State Food and Veterinary Office (hereinafter – SFVS) case. The first part of this work analyses the structure and quality management standards for the theoretical aspects. The second part defines the quality management initiatives in the application of Lithuania in the public sector. The third part discloses policy of food safety in the EU and Lithuania. The fourth part investigates the employees’ approach of SFVS of Telšiai district to their organization and their involvement in quality improvement processes. The conclusions and recommendations are presented on the basis of investigation and evaluation of the results of the analysis. There are 5 tables and 22 figures in this master's thesis. In the end of the work there are conclusions, recommendations, references and appendix. |
