This master’s thesis formulates the logistical problems with raw materials that the company faces. The purpose of the work is to analyze the supply of raw materials to JSC “Litpra” over three years and identify the fundamental problems facing the company, as well as to suggest possible solutions to the problems. Research was performed using ABC and XYZ analyses, through which it is possible to see purchasing trends and preferences for raw materials. It also analyzed the optimal order for raw materials according to the Wilson formula. In this thesis there is a summary of the company’s operating raw material supply chain. The proposed hypothesis was that effective raw materials logistics are possible only having performed ABC and XYZ analysis, and having employed the optimal order according to the Wilson formula method. The author’s proposed hypothesis was partially confirmed; the research showed that the Wilson method is not suitable for the type of organization in question. |
