The aim - to justify theoretically and empirically examine a woman emigrated ethnic identity development and cultural adaptation of self-direction and self learning process. Lithuanian emigration increased features have been shaped by various factors - political, demographic, economic, cultural. People emigration has particular significance, and learning self-improvement because of the need to adapt for life in a foreign environment and culture. The study involved 10 women who emigrated from Lithuania. Stay in exile was a different time from 6 months to 14 years. The study was chosen for a qualitative semi-structured open-ended biographical interviews. |
