The master paper includes the analysis of the reasons of bankruptcy: the key bankruptcy reasons are revealed in theoretical aspect and the importance of the anti-crisis enterprise management is assessed. The consecutive comparative analysis of laws of the Republic of Lithuania regulating bankruptcies is performed. Moreover, the peculiarities of application of bankruptcy projection models in Lithuanian enterprises are evaluated in theoretical aspect. Riskiness of construction sector in terms of recession is assessed and a dynamic analysis of the number of bankruptcies in construction sector is performed in the context of total number of bankruptcies in country’s economy. Assessing the impact of external causes to the number of bankruptcies the main reasons causing bankruptcies in the construction business were distinguished. Using a statistical and enterprises’ riskiness criterion approach the assumptions of the reasons were verified, which allowed formulating the recommendations to the construction sector and strategic solutions to the companies operating in the related sectors. A report prepared based on the theoretical part of the master paper was presented in the 9th conference of students’ works “Economy and management topicalities". |
