This research paper investigates wage and its improvement opportunities at “Sviesa” JSC. Theory part of this research paper investigates concept of wage, its function and factors which influence wage size, system and form. Research is based on findings of Lithuanian and foreign authors and scientific articles in magazines on economics. Valuation method is presented which helps to determine fixed and variable part of the wage. Practical part of this research paper contains short analysis and comparison of the workers’ wage in manufacturing industry. Wage system and form at “Sviesa” JSC is evaluated. Also, disadvantages of wage system at “Sviesa” JSC are discussed and proposals to improve wage differentiation are presented. |
