In this master’s work the analysis of the reasons of the migration and the unemployment level in Lithuania in 2003-2008 is given. There is discussed the dependence on each other. The data about the unemployment level, about the number of unemployed people and the migration in Lithuania is analyzed and systematized referring to the information from different works of Lithuanian and foreign authors. There is given the analysis of data according to different age groups, sex, education, family status and emigrants according to their living place. Special indicators were calculated and they helped to evaluate the significance of some indexes, to make the equation of the direct regression and to draw its diagrams which reflect the predicted number of emigrants when the number of unemployed people is known. One of the reasons why the unemployment level decreased in Lithuania at this moment is the rise of migration. The unemployment is one of the reasons of the migration, so it can be stated that migration is closely related to the unemployment. |
