The objective of the Work- to analyze the formation of assortment policy in Joint Stock Company “Plungės kooperatinė prekyba” and introduce the possibilities of assortment development under the present conditions. The whole work consists of several parts which includes theoretical aspects of the assortment policy development, factors which influence the formation of the assortment policy also there are provided proposals of various scientists how to make the analyses of the assortment policy. Due to assessment of Company’s assortment policy there was done the combined analysis of demand, of sale market and of order’s portfolio. Moreover, it includes the analysis of the demand flexibility, the influence of inflation to company’s income, the analysis of profitability, the analysis of dynamics of variable costs and commodity output. According to the results of the accomplished investigation were formulated the conclusions and were provided the references for the assortment policy formation improvement under the present conditions in unstable economic conditions. |
