Master thesis explores theoretical analysis of credit risk conception, cause origin, influence on Lithuanian commercial banks activities, is given wide analysis of credit risk evaluation models. It analyses and structures Lithuanian and foreign authors’ theoretical and practical elements of the banks credit risk evaluation, is given analysis of Lithuanian standart acts and legal statements which influences credit analysis of business companies in banks. According to one bank credit risk evaluation model, in this paper is evaluated credit risks for financing a large company and a small company: made project calculation on modeling credit risk trends in long-term outlook. Paper proves scientific hypothesis that evaluation of credit risk for financing business company based on historical financial statements is not sufficient for making companies ratings and for that purpose is needed to use forecasting models. |
