Abstract [eng] In Lithuania increased youth migration, emigration of highly skilled professionals is dictated that the balance of a large proportion of the workers is not ready to become the participants of discourse of (self) employment. There is a question: is the employment institutions prepared to select not only the right employees in the right place of labour market, but also to educate them? The aim of this paper is to analyze the discourse of (self) employment and reveal how adult education is conducted if it is, by the critical educational approach. By analyzing the foreign and local academical literature, semi-structured interview and single case analysis was designed the model of the discourse of (self) employment, critical thinking, which develop the conception, structure and education peculiarities in academic culture. The research confirmed the hypothesis that authors had formulated that the (self) employment of institutions for adult education in the critical consciousness-raising approach, are understandable like professional specialization in a particular workplace.
