The analysis of main notions, the conception of strategy, the process of the stages of strategic management, the steps of strategic planning and the analysis of performed strategic alternatives are given in this Master’s Work. Strategic planning for school as an organization is formulated and based. The analysis of the strategic development plans of the municipalities of Telšiai region, Mažeikiai district, and the schools of Mažeikiai district was fulfilled and correlations between them were settled in this work. The empirical research showed that strategic development plans are prepared for different periods of time. Development of plans for different periods of time results in different prioritization and introduction as different realization period is a starting point. The experimental research, which aims to evaluate the weakest and the strongest points, was carried out. Conclusions confirm the hypothesis mentioned above - the strategic planning is not well-ballanced in Mažeikiai district due to the lack of contacts between the strategic development plans of different municipalities. |
