Abstract [eng] THE IMPACT OF BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AGILITY ON BUILDING ORGANISATIONAL RESILIENCE Violeta PRANEVIČIŪTĖ Master thesis Strategic management of information systems master study program Vilnius University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Supervisor – Dr. prof. R. Skyrius Vilnius, 2024 SUMMARY 118 pages, 11 pictures, 7 tables, 36 references. The main purpose of this master thesis is to determine whether the BI agility has an impact on the organizational resilience growth. This work contains four main parts. The first part is the analysis of literature. The second is the research methodology, the third is the main research, and the lats but not least is the part of the conclusion and recommendation. The analysis of the literature contains description of the organizational resilience, human resources system, organizational resilience growth principals, business analytics and business intelligence agility. The common links between the principles of building organizational resilience and the elements of the HR system are discussed, along cognitive, behavioral, and contextual dimensions. The second part presents the method used for the study and the course of the trial. The interview method was chosen for the study and six respondents were selected for data analysis. This section also includes the questions that were asked of the respondents during the interviews. The third part presents the results of the empirical study. The responses of the respondents on the impact of business analytics on the development of resilience in the organization are analyzed. The responses on the impact of business analytics agility on the components and elements of the HR system along the distinct dimensions are further discussed. This section presents the respondents' views, key quotes, and statements on how the agility of business analytics influences these elements. The last part of the thesis presents the conclusions and observations of the other parts, as well as a summary of the results. In the last part of the thesis, recommendations for further research are also given. The study shows that business intelligence agility has a positive impact on the development of organizational resilience and suggests that business intelligence agility has an important role to play in the organizational context.
