Master's thesis analyzes the development of information systems in the public sector. The work consists of four main parts, which focus on IS development review, identification of concepts and identification of key aspects of how to be carried out of the development in the public sector. In the practical part of the thesis deals with Siauliai city from the situation in the three institutions that deal directly with the people who make use of the provision of electronic services. The conclusions identified the main problems encountered in the application of various IS development options. The most obvious one is the lack of computer literacy as well as all public sector schemes fragmentation, which do not ensure a sustainable and successful IS development. |
