Abstract [eng] Final thesis of the Special education (specialization – coordination of special and inclusive education) on the topic - Educators’ Attitude Towards Special Pedagogical Support in an Open School. Access to education is becoming especially important in modern society. In the realization of inclusion, students with special educational needs must be educated in general education institutions, because it is a place for everyone and everything. In Lithuania, the issue of social justice (accessibility and impartiality) has been partially resolved, but the problems of inclusion and quality of education in general education institutions remain relevant. Problematic questions are raised: what are the features of the provision of special pedagogical assistance in a general education school, how do they differ from the currently prevailing system of special pedagogical assistance?, what is the expression of cooperation between pedagogues and special pedagogical assistance specialists? The proposed hypothesis - it is likely that the attitude of pedagogues towards special pedagogical assistance is positive. The object of the research - the attitude of pedagogues towards special pedagogical assistance. The goal - to reveal the expression of special pedagogical assistance in an open general education institution based on the pedagogues' point of view. Research tasks: 1) based on the analysis of scientific literature, reveal the features of the provision of special pedagogical assistance in a general education school; 2) reveal the currently existing expression of the special pedagogical system in open educational institutions; 3) reveal the peculiarities of cooperation between pedagogues and educational support specialists. The research is based on the following principles: social reconstructionism (future and well-being of the community), development of community spirit (united vision of the community, tolerance, cooperation), social participation, social cohesion and well-being. Research methods: Theoretical: analysis of scientific literature. Empirical methods: questionnaire survey (online); statistical data analysis using SPSS Statistics; content analysis method. Non-probability, purposive sampling. 366 pedagogues working in general education schools. Empirical study revealed that the provision of special pedagogical assistance in open general education institutions partially differs from the results of the theoretical analysis of scientific sources. The majority of open general education institutions do not have the necessary number of special pedagogical assistance specialists to ensure the implementation of all recommendations. It was revealed that the attitude of pedagogues towards the cooperation of special pedagogical assistance specialists and pedagogues at the individual and team level is positive. Keywords: special pedagogical assistance, attitude.
