| Abstract [eng] | In the master's thesis, an analysis of heavy-tailed distributions is conducted. Examples are provided for each class of heavy-tailed distributions. Theorems are formulated and proved, stating that distributions from the heavy-tailed class are heavier than distributions from the light-tailed class. The main result aims to create a distribution function defined as heavy-tailed, yet lighter than distributions from the light-tailed class. |
