In the master’s final paper was evaluated competitiveness of Lithuanian chemistry industry sector. In the conceptual part was analyzed the concept of competitiveness. There were separated the competitiveness evaluation methods and the main indicators used to evaluate competitiveness, reviewed the ways to increase the industry sector competitiveness. In the analytical part ware analyzed sector competitiveness indicators: surplus value, work productivity, material and direct foreign investments, expenditure on R&D and was made comparative analysis in the context of the European Union. After analysis it became clear that Lithuanian chemistry industry sector is competitive. To increase the competitiveness of Lithuanian chemistry industry sector needs to expand sector expenditure on R&D, to stimulate sector enterprises close contacts with institutions of science, to motivate establish clusters. |
