In this master work are analysed rural tourism business, it‘s importance and rural tourism development possibility in problematical Akmene district. The aim of this work – to substantiate rural tourism business creation possibility in Akmenė district. In the work author theoricaly analyzed rural tourism concept, the types of rural tourism and rural tourism as a business. The analysis of tourism situation in Akmene district showed that tourism potential is not fully exploited, although the tourism resources are sufficient. Founding rural tourism creation possibilities in Akmene district the focal attention is intended on the financial assessment, which showed that the possibility of establishing rural tourism in Akmenė region is financially efective, but the second option, requiring a smaller investment, is more appropriate, as soon pay off, and less responsive to the market situation. |
