Abstract [eng] „Assesment of Attention using Art Therapy with younger school-age Children with Behavioral and Emotional difficulties“ The purpose of this study was to evaluate the change in attention through art therapy in elementary school children experiencing behavioral and emotional difficulties. The Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) (teacher version), art therapy was used, during which an attention protocol was used to monitor the level of attention. The research questions were: How does the attention of children change when applying art therapy classes? How does the expression of a child's art expression change at different levels of attention? How do children's emotional and behavioral symptoms change before and after art therapy? Research objectives: To identify the links between behavior and emotional difficulties in primary school children's attentiveness in a theoretical context. To assess the attention of elementary school children experiencing problems and emotional difficulties before and after art therapy. Also a case study was used to compare attentional change in a child experiencing behavioral and emotional difficulties through art therapy. The results of the study did not show a significant change in both attention and emotional and behavioral symptoms before and after art therapy.
