Abstract [eng] The object of the study is “Ingress Prime” mobile application, which is an augmented reality and location-based game. Objectives – The research aims to investigate how and to what extent media (cartographic objects) influence the use of space. Also, to understand how the relationship between space and the user changes when using this type of applications, as well as how the narrative of the game influences the environmental image, use and experience of space. The results show that the use of space is mediated by “Ingress Prime” as a distinct form of use and experience of space, which, like other cartographic objects, shapes the user’s cognitive environmental image. The game’s narrative also encourages the user to act in space by intervening in the processes of space triggering imagination. This blurs the boundary between the fictional universe of the game and the physical realm, and by resemanticising the elements of the real space, establishes a relationship based on power dynamics.
