Abstract [eng] The Focus of this Thesis is to take a closer Look in the Theater play “On the way (Pakeliui)” as a Play-Text by the Playwright, Director Aleksandr Spilevoj. Research of the Topic. There are still no scientific Texts to analyse the Work of this unique Artist through the Prism of the Theory of Play-Games. In Lithuania, Researcher Ingrida Ruchlevičienė wrote a little more about Dramaturgy and Play-Game in the work of Playwright Kostas Ostrauskas. The Author's Monograph “Creativity - As a Play-Game: Kostas Ostrauskas Dramaturgy.” In Lithuania, the Play-Game and Theatre were analysed by Critic of the Theatre Ramunė Bale- vičiūtė and her Dissertation “The Expression of the Play Theatre in the Direction of Rimas Tuminas in 1978-2005” and Jūratė’s Grigaitienė Dissertation “Play-Game and Improvisation in Perfor- mances for Children and young People in Lithuanian Theatre in the second half of the 20th century - the beginning of the 21st century”. The Object of the Work is the Manifestations of the Play-Game in Aleksander Spilevoj Theater Play “On the Way (Pakeliui).” The Purpose of the Work is to look into the Basis of the Theories of the Play-Game, how various Manifestations of the Play-Game appear in the Theatre Play “On the way (Pakeliui)” what Mean- ings they create and what they require from the Text Reader. Tasks: 1. To explain the Concept of the Play-Game and the Playing Text possibilities to apply it to the study of the Dramaturgy Text. 2. Analyse, what means to play in Theater Play? 3. Interpret the Meanings of the Play-Games explicitly mentioned in the Text. 4. Singling out the Levels of Play-Game in the Theater Play and analyzing them. 5. Summarize the Reader's Role in the Text. Methods: 1. Theoretical: Analysis of Play-Game theory Literature. 2. Interpretative: Interpretation of the Theater play. 3. Careful Reading: based on Theory of Play-Game and Dramaturgy 4. Interview: An interview with Playwright, Director Aleksander Spilevoj. The most important Findings showed that Aleksandr Spilevoj is a playing Artist, and the analysis of the Theatre Play “On the way (Pakeliui)” using the Theory of Play-Text showed that Play-Games can also perform various Functions. The Play-Game explains the Character Features of the Charac- ters, in this case the Focus is on the Character of the Theatre play's Protagonist Rapolas: he has a good sense of humour, he is an Adventurer who does not shy away from philosophical Insights into the true Meaning of Life. Play-Game also takes a Role of Metaphor: a free and restricted Man, the temporal nature of Life.
