Abstract [eng] Personality and relationship are two major psychological constructs, researched in many ways and different fields. This theses analyses links between teachers’ lifestyle (personality), as it is conceptualized in the theory of individual psychology, ant teacher-student relationship within a framework of attachment theory. 202 subject teachers participated in this study (194 females and 8 men) by filling up online survey. Teachers completed Basic Adlerean Scale for Interpersonal Success-Adult (BASIS-A) and Teacher-class Relationship Inventory. Correlation analysis revealed positive link between instrumental help and satisfaction in teacher-student relationship and teachers’ lifestyle themes - social interest ant striving for perfection. Negative link between instrumental help and satisfaction in teacher-student relationship and teacher’s need to be liked by all was established. Conflict in teacher-student relationship were negatively linked to teachers’ social interest ant striving for perfection. According to multiple regression results, teacher’s social interest, striving for perfection and need to be liked by all predicts quality of teacher-student relationship. The results of this research can be used preparing intervention programs for teacher and providing them with emotional and psychological help.
