Master's thesis topic: The Interaction of Teachers' Professional Growth and Evaluation, and Enhancement Competence. In today's labour market, competencies that enable adaptation to constant changes are becoming crucial. The ability to acquire new competencies and apply existing knowledge, while reflecting on one's learning and experience, forms a profound perspective on learning and opens opportunities for teachers' professional growth. The thesis explores the problem expressed by the question: What determines the interaction between professional growth and the competence of evaluating and enhancing teachers' professional activities? Additional questions: What aspects of teachers' professional activities are evaluated, how are they improved? The hypothesis states that teachers' professional growth and the competence of evaluating and enhancing their professional activities are interacting factors. Professional growth promotes the development of competencies and contributes to effective pedagogical practice and the achievement of educational system goals. The structure of the thesis is constructed based on the analysis of scientific literature and empirical research, aimed at examining the interaction between teachers' professional growth and the evaluation and enhancement competence of their professional activities. The object of the research is the interaction between teachers' professional growth and the evaluation and enhancement competence of their professional activities. The research employed the following methods: 1. Theoretical: analysis of scientific literature. 2. Empirical: Quantitative research utilized a written questionnaire, while qualitative research employed written reflection. 3. Data analysis: The research data were processed using qualitative content analysis. 4. The results of the empirical research were summarized, and both quantitative and qualitative data analysis were conducted. The main conclusions of the qualitative research revealed that the interaction between teachers' professional growth and the evaluation and enhancement competence of their professional activities is significant and forms an integral part of teachers' professional development process. This complex process is influenced by educational system and organizational policies, as well as teachers' personal attributes, attitudes, and motivation. The main conclusions of the quantitative research highlighted that teachers' professional growth, and the evaluation and enhancement competence are essential factors in the education system, enabling continuous improvement of teachers' competencies and adaptation to changing educational challenges. This interaction plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality pedagogical practice and achieving educational system goals. |
