Abstract [eng] |
Adolescence is often referred to as a difficult transition period from childhood to adulthood. Teenagers often feel lonely, suffer from depression, do not know how to control their emotions, and as a result, they are nervous, prone to worry, impulsive or even aggressive. Young people also experience difficulties in communicating with other people due to the lack of social and emotional skills. One of the most important factors of a personality’s social competence is social skills. Social abilities and mutual interactions form the basis of human consciousness, they are like a link between an individual and his environment. This allows the personality to function as part of a community. Adolescents living in families, which experience social risks, are a very prominent and relevant problem of today's society and of all of us. Therefore, the greatest attention of the society and all of us must be given to teenagers, to preserve their dignity and honor and ensure their rights in the vocational training institution. It is important that teachers and specialists for educational support with pedagogical experience in working with children are able to listen to the opinions of teenagers, understand them and be able to respond to their needs. The authentic life experiences of teenagers are unique and important, and should never be left to themselves alone. Therefore, it is important to listen to the authentic voices and authentic experiences of teenagers and to provide high-quality and effective assistance to children and their families. |
