Abstract [eng] |
Jacques Derrida in his book “Spectres de Marx: l'état de la dette, le travail du deuil et la nouvelle Internationale” (1993) introduces new spectral discourse, which he playfully names hauntology. With the words ushered by the lips of Shakespeare’s character in the presence of his late father’s ghost, that “the time is out of joint”. Hauntology appeared as a new chapter in the development of Derrida’s deconstructive critique in the aftermath of the collapse of the Soviet Union. In this paper we present a possible new way to deal with Derrida’s concept of hauntology by drawing connections to Giorgio Agamben’s discourse on economic theology, which he develops in his book "II Regno e la Gloria". |
