This master 's thesis analyzes the impact of human capital on high - tech exports in two groups of EU countries. The first group includes countries where exports of these technologies account for a large share of total exports. The second group includes countries where high-tech exports account for a small share of total exports. Thesis objective- to evaluate the impact of human capital on high - tech exports in groups of 28 EU countries, separated by the share of high - tech exports in total exports. The results of the study revealed that human capital influences high-tech exports. The mentioned impact is assessed by means of indicators related to the education of the population. This is the cost of higher education, secondary education, as well as 25 years and the part of the older population with tertiary and secondary education. Empirical research suggests that the first hypothesis in the master 's thesis was only partially confirmed. The second hypothesis raised in the work was confirmed. |
