Abstract [eng] The Master’s thesis analyzes the co-creation in non - formal education services. The aim of the research is to identify the factors enabling the co-creation in non-formal education services. Objectives are to review the theoretical aspects of the concept of co-creation; to analyze the peculiarities of the ways, means, benefits and obstacles of the co-creation process; to determine the ways, means, benefits and obstacles of the co-creation process in the research on co-creation processes in non-formal education organizations in Mažeikiai. In order to achieve the aim, the following research methods are used: analysis of scientific literature, analysis of documents and legal acts, qualitative research – interview, quantitative research – questionnaire survey. The first part of the Master’s thesis analyzes the concept of co-creation in non-formal education organizations, legal regulation, and theoretical aspects. Co-creation is a form of co-operation based on the participation and involvement of all stakeholders in learning outcomes, characterized by the creation of new knowledge and the generation of greater total value. In the context of education, co-creation includes the following benefits: impact on the psychosocial learning environment, motivation and metacognition and quality of education services, better understanding of each other’s approaches to education, fostering a more positive, inclusive and democratic learning environment, increasing intrinsic motivation and quality of education. The second part of the Master’s thesis presents the methodology of qualitative research, substantiates the logic of the research and the selected research methods. The third part of the master’s thesis presents the results of the research on co-creation in non-formal education organizations. Expert interviews revealed that involvement of children in the planning of non-formal education activities and the creation of a microclimate is carried out in the form of observations and suggestions. The experts emphasized the development of personal and social competencies, self-realization as a benefit of non-formal education co-creation, and the lack of human and physical resources, lack of inter-institutional communication and negative features of non-formal education activities as the main obstacles to co-creation. With regard to measures to promote co-creation, the importance of parental involvement and public recognition, the importance of interaction between children and teachers are emphasized. According to the questionnaire survey, it was found that the majority of the respondents make suggestions for the improvement of the activities, they get involved in the activities of the groups by bringing their own tools. Lack of information about the opportunities to get involved in the activities of the groups and lack of time are highlighted. Better relationships with other students in the group, good emotions, and increased trust are the benefits of active participation in the activities. In terms of incentives, personal gratitude, a letter of thanks, and peer evaluation should be noted. Key-words: co-creation, non-formal education, benefits, obstacles.
