| Abstract [eng] |
This paper examines the effectiveness of unemployment insurance (UI) as a labor market policy measure in European countries, which in Y2018 participated in the European Social Survey (ESS). The paper raises two main hypotheses about the existence of a link between the amount and duration of unemployment benefits and unemployment social security benefits and the quality of work. The study is performed using linear and rank logistic regression models. The study attempts to establish a relationship between independent (unemployment benefit levels) and dependent variables (duration of unemployment and quality of work), with additional control variables (age; education; type of organization; gender; place of residence). Based on the obtained results, the regression analysis is used to formulate conclusions about the relationship between independent, dependent and control variables. |
