Abstract [eng] Relationships of psychopathy with emotion recognition, affect balance, emotional expressivity and contagion. Asta Volfė. Vilnius: Vilnius University, 2022 - 80 p. Psychopathy features the deficits of emotional functionality. The aim of the study: to reveal the links among psychopathic features, recognition of emotions, affect balance, emotional expressivity and emotional contagion of the adult Lithuanians. The study involved 436 participants: including 33 (7,6%) male ir 403 (92,4%) female, from 18 to 79 years. Parcipants were collected by using the snowball sampling. Five instruments used during the study: Triarchic Psychopathy Measure (TriPM), The Averaged Karolinska Directed Emotional Faces (AKDEF), The Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE), Berkeley expressivity questionnaire (BEQ, The Emotional Contagion Scale (ECS). Psychopathy features and their separate dimensions have not been linked to emotion recognition, however, have been linked with the emotional contagion. The separate dimensions of psychopathy were related to affect balance and emotional expressivity. Affect balance, emotional expression and emotional contagion could forecast psychopathic features and their dimensions. The said variables have explained from 13 to 30 per cent of the rating dissemination.
