Abstract [eng] Judge assistants receive little attention from researchers, although the relationship between psychological well-being and occupational self-efficacy among employees of other professions is analysed. The need of research in positive psychology is indicated by the increasing number of unoccupied judge assistants’ positions in courts. Therefore, the goal of the study is to examine the link between psychological well-being and occupational self-efficacy among judge assistants. In total, 269 judge assistants (22-61 years old) participated in this study: 39 male and 230 female respondents. The invitation to participate in the study reached participants through the Association of Judge Assistants of Lithuania and the Courts of Lithuania, who were requested to share the invitation and a link of the study with the judge assistants. The participants completed The Supplementary Lithuanian Psychological Well-Being scale, a short version of the Occupational Self-Efficacy Scale, answered the questions about work-related factors and socio-demographic factors. This study revealed a link between psychological well-being, satisfaction with areas of life and occupational self-efficacy, perceived value at work. Psychological well-being is negatively related to workload. A link was found between psychological well-being and socio-demographic factors: age, gender. The results of this study reveal some factors related to the psychological well-being among judge assistants, provide data for recommendations and are significant for future research, that could include more factors and provide a clearer view on well-being.
