Abstract [eng] Ema Šilytė. “The relationship between police officers‘ perceived organizational justice, perceived stress and compassion fatigue“. Vilnius, Vilniaus Universitetas, 2022, 62 p. Justice issues are important for police officers - they want management to act honestly, to apply the rules correctly: a lack of perceived organizational justice is one of the causes of stress and the effects of traumatic incidents at work can lead to compassion fatigue. There are no studies in Lithuania that examine the perceived organizational justice and compassion fatigue of police officers, therefore the aim of this study is to find the relationship between organizational justice, perceived stress and compassion fatigue of police officers. The study involved 326 Lithuanian police officers, of whom 160 were men (49.1%) and 166 were women (50.9%). The mean age was 38.46 (SD = 9). The minimum age indicated is 21 years and the highest is 59. The average time spent in a police organization is 15.94 years (SD = 107.63). The minimum time worked in the organization is 1 month, the maximum is 33 years. The study used the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), the Perceived Overall Justice (POJ) scale, and the Professional Quality of Life Scale (ProQOL-5). This study found links between perceived organizational justice, perceived stress, and compassion fatigue. Key words: police officers, perceived organizational justice, perceived stress, compassion fatigue.  .
