Abstract [eng] Rimša E. Efficiency analysis of Linear Robot Transfer System: Master‘s work in Smart Manufacturing Engineering / supervisor doc. dr. S. Rimovskis; Vilnius University, Šiauliai Academy, 2022, 36 p. As companies choose automation more and more rapidly, it is very important to design production lines, choose robots and their peripherals for the best possible process. To do this, you need to be constantly interested in innovations in automation technology. With the growing number of automated companies and the range of companies producing these systems. Depending on the processor being performed, you can choose between ultra-compact or extremely bulky robots. Because of the still relatively expensive robots, more and more companies are opting for linear robot movement systems that allow a robot to service one machine at a time. This master's thesis analyzes the advantages of an automated production line with a linear motion system compared to robots working in stationary workplaces. The cost calculations presented in the work prove that the production line with the linear movement system is significantly cheaper and its maintenance requires less cost.
