Constant change of society raises new requirements for Lithuanian educational system and for one of its composite part – educators, as educators are the most important “resources”, which help to achieve good results in the educational system. While the need to gain knowledge is growing, new requirements are made for the activities of educators in pre-school education; therefore, it becomes diverse. Seeking that the educators would assure qualified education process, it is important to encourage constant professional motivation of the educators. The quality of educators' work depends upon their own motivation, and the latter – upon how they are motivated in their work. Only motivated educators are able to work productively.
