This master's work analyzes causes of stress at work for Siauliai city pedagogues, stress' manifestattions and prevention possibilities for stress reduction. Factors that cause stress for pedagogues and allow prevention in education organizations were clarified during research.It has been found out that teachers are not motivated enough for the work they perform; there is no system of promotions and motivations at schools. The most stress prone teachers are those from the primary and gymnasium schools. To operate successfully as an organization school needs: stress audit, management efforts to improve work subject and surroundings, participation of pedagogues in important decision making process, purposeful selection of new pedagogues, stress management training, and involvement of professional psychology consulting services. |
