Abstract [eng] |
The master's thesis analyzes the legal problems that arise when same-sex marriages travel between different states. Due to different international regulations and the lack of a unanimous consensus, their marriages are recognized in one state and not in another. In order to reveal the problems of recognition of same-sex marriages and the scope of the rights and obligations granted in Lithuania, the master's thesis extensively analyzes Lithuanian laws, EU legal acts, decisions of international and national courts, and their tendencies. Taking into account the research and seeking international compatibility and compatibility of Lithuanian national legislation, the last part of the master's thesis presents proposals. |
