Abstract [eng] Research explores recuring narratives of homosexual people and sense of self. LGBTIQ+ people experience discrimination and violence which leads to higher negative stress effects. Experienced distress about once identity, lack of support and positive mirroring in certain developmental periods may lead to sense of identity disturbance. In this context it is not clear how do homosexual people constructs their narratives and experience oneself. This research aims to reveal reoccurring narratives of homosexual people and sense of oneself. There were five participants found using snowball method. Narratives were sampled with an interview and analyzed using thematic analysis method. Eight topics where distinguished – difficulty of reflection and defensiveness, identity dynamism, coming out and hardship, abandonment and loneliness, projections and expectations, sense of otherness and uncertainty tolerance, aspirations. Narratives reveals difficulty to reflect and tell one’s story while coming out is led by experience of hardship, subjectively experienced pain, abandonment and loneliness. In the context of sense of identity emerges aims to integrate and experience life, but it’s led by difficulties to tolerate uncertainty and projection of expectations, aims to tolerate otherness of oneself and uncertainty.
