This Master‘s thesis describes the structure and classification of Government expenditures, the effect of economic growth, presented by various Lithuanian and foreign authors. This Master‘s thesis also describes the changes of the expenditures of Lithuania and other EU members during the period 2001-2017. Also, there is an analysis of the ratio of government expenditure to GDP. The analysis enables us to state that there is a positive correlation between expenditures growth and economic growth. Thesis shows us that the structure of government expenditures is pretty the same among all EU members. The part of the thesis is dedicated to analysis of the social protection expenditures. |
