Abstract [eng] 59 pages, 1 chart, 27 pictures, 13 references. In job search theory it is analyzed what should be the least minimum salary, or reservation wage amount, for which employee would still accept the job offer. Therefore, the main purpose of this research is to apply the Job Search model (modified McCall Search Model) and to calculate what would be a reservation wage for 2018 year in Lithuania. The theoretical review chapter explains and analyses the main McCall interporal job search model basis and principles. There is also a derived mathematical expression which would let calculate the reservation wage. This derived expression additionally assumes that there exists a certain risk to be separated with the job (i.e. probability to be fired). In analytical-methodological chapter the McCall’s Interporal Job Search model is adapted for practical use with the purpose to calculate a 2018-year reservation wage in Lithuania. The model’s calculated result is compared to the reservation wage for 2017-year. There is also analysis conducted how 2018-year reservation wage would be affected if one of McCall’s Job Search model measurement (i.e. unemployment compensation, risk of separation and discount factor) would be changed. Assessment of the results obtained is provided. Additionally, 2018-year working population reservation wage analysis is performed according to separate genders and different age groups. Because McCall’s Interporal Job Search model assumes a certain amount of different assumptions, therefore, to achieve this research objectives a significant amount of complementary assumptions was created (i.e. about Lithuania gross salary distribution, discount factor, risk of separation, unemployment compensation, etc.). Therefore, when evaluating the results provided by research, a previously explained assumption aspect must be taken into consideration.
