The main purpose of this master thesis is to anlyze Lithuania Startups’ ecosystem and to evaluate their business process maturity levels based on newly created model. The work consists ofthree main parts: the analysis of scientific literature, the research methodology and research results, and conclusion and recommendations. Literature analysis reviews recent scientific research on business processes, existing business maturity valuation models, consepts of Startups, their characteristics and the major challenges they are facing. After the literature analysis research design was set up and research methods were selected. In order to validate newly created business processis maturity model qualitative and quantitative research methods were selected. During qualitative research Startup experts were interviewed to identify business processes maturity levels and it’s influence on success factor. During quantitative research closed-ended questionnaire was used. It was filled by Startup employers and employees. The main purpose of this part was to improve overall quality of the research and newly created model. The performed research revealed that Lithuanian Startups don’t use business processes valuation models. According to majority of Startups, the main success factor is team, however, Startups’ industry experts state that the main success factors are competence and leadership of the Startup founder. Also, research revealed that most of the Startups are focusing on the improvement of their products and business model creation, however, experts oppose to it and state that crucial factors are premature sales and story telling in social media. The conclusions and recommendations summarize literature analysis and results of qualitative and quantitative research. In author’s opinion results of this master thesis could provide useful quidelines to the Startups how to improve their success factor by improving business processes management. However, further more sector-focused researches are needed.  . |
