Abstract [eng] The object of Master degree is G. Cieskaite works in the perspective of Christian metaphysics. Christian metaphysics in west Europe culture shows as the model of thinking having the whole history of its origin. It seeks the Ancient times when Aristotle defined physics as a science researching beingness. The Genesis was explained with the tendencies of cosmogony. Later, in the Middle Ages, St. T. Aquinas made the entire theory of metaphysics based on Christianity. The tradition of Aquinian metaphysics reflected the cult of Absolute being as the best being. The last poems’ selection of G. Cieskaite “The Light Wandering in Supernature” also refers to metaphysics theory of the Ancient and Middle ages. The novelty and relevance of the topic for literary studies comes out of the reason that the works of mentioned poet are analyzed very little and it makes difficult to find the right niche for her among Lithuanian poets. Furthermore, every study helps to look deeper into the poetry, to understand the tendencies and to single out a certain conception. This work lets to deepen the studies connected with the analyzes of poet’s works and gives the possibility to evaluate her poems not in one way just telling “too complicated works”. It is difficult to apply one method to analyze the eclectic works of G. Cieskaite, so while doing a research some problems were brought which can be analyzed in connection with the context of Christian metaphysics. Every problem is closely connected with metaphysical problems. Metaphysics is expressed in the poems through language transformed into meditative speech and solid language flush, through ambiguity images. The individual meanings are given to them by poet. Manifestations of metaphysics are seen in the relation of madness and creation, in manifestation of good and evil, in ideal God’s being and primitive person’s being. Temporality and space in the poems are understood metaphysically which is also divided into inner lyrical ,,I” time and space parameters. The conclusions after analyzing G.Cieskaites poems’ selection “The Light Wandering in Supernature”: Christian metaphysics conceptions systemically dominate in the poems, which give new meanings to the poems, give the opportunity not only literary but also philosophically and teopoetically analyze G. Cieskaite works. It avoids transfer of traditional meetings typical for poems. They are expressed in poet’s works as basic, cultural memory, on which the poet puts individual and philosophical meanings. Person’s imperfect being is expressed through dual disunity such as person’s internal and external world time non identity. The ideal God being is put against as opposite to human’s being. Evil gets into disappointment person’s world which goes even into saint spheres. It smells with pessimism, but anyway having a hope to get rid out of compression world frames. G. Cieskaite’s works are like escape in stormy sea. Meanwhile the person of poems becomes a superman or as Antanas Garsva in “White Sheet” would tell “world’s unsuccessful human being”, who after seeing the world’s tragedy and unavoidable fall, sometimes start rebel not only against God’s created order, but also against himself. All G. Cieskaite's works reflect individual poet’s experiences connected with tragical her fate and problems. They also reflect her emotions development, critical view to environment and gives hope, that creation is a bridge taking to better not known to person’s being experiences.
