The issue of school non-attendance is both relevant in Lithuania and other countries where in accordance with the law children must attend schools until the age of 16. Non-attendance at school, absence from classes and learning failures are the factors obstructing implementation of objectives of the education system and lifetime learning. Finding proper solutions is the only way to avoid problems arising from school non-attendance. Wherefore parents, teachers and school principles should cooperate in finding best solutions for the problem of non-attendance. |
